Drawing

I knew I wanted to use string to draw. I feel that it produces a nice line and is a cleaner alternative to a pen/pencil drawing.
I also really like the texture it creates, and that when layered its thicker in certain places.

I started off by just randomly putting the string on the page. I then tried to direct the string to actually look like something. Although in a group tutorial the feedback was more positive to the random string drawings. I started to look at artists who used automatic drawing.
